From decorating your home, to creating gifting wish lists, to adding in wine of the mulled variety to your bar – holiday season is upon us and slowly stirring excitement for what’s yet to come.
This year, the holiday season holds the hope for giving us something to feel gratitude for, and to celebrate: our family, friends, and our health. We’re looking forward to savouring a festive feast on the dining table surrounded by guests, to seeing the glow of wonder on the kids’ faces, to reading the sentimental exchange of handwritten cards, and of course, to witness the thrill of a dear friend unwrapping a gift you chose for them – and maybe unwrapping something yourself!
Most of all, and at the close of a year where so much has changed, it’s about reconnecting with our loved ones, the communities we live and interact within, and with the earth. To find ways to be together, even if we are physically apart. To wrap ourselves up in the joy of everyone and everything that means the most to us.
